Siemens A52 -- ATMEGA16

siemens a52 at command

Hey!!!
I've got Siemens A52 phone. i want to connect it to ATMEGA16 to send and receive sms. So do i've to use MAX232 in between phone and controller or i can connect it without any level converter???

ok i got it solved. now the next problem does A52 support AT commands???

well i even cant manage to get reply for AT ( seiemns A-52) ... so i changed to C60 now its working well
