hi to all,

i need to send a signal from microcontroller to computer (visual basic) through LAN. I have 8051 microcontroller, how will I connect it? what are the things that I must do? please help..

thanks:

The most convenient way is to connect a serial-to-ethernet adapter, e.g. a Lantronix XPort device, or an ethernet interface with hardware TCP/IP stack, like Wiznet W5100.

Dear my friend you can play it with software only by some software converting serial to Ethernet an d Ethernet to serial again

Best Regards
