i am trying to develop pic programmer software interface but how to send the HEX file to pic using visual basic.i am using rs232 port...thanks

Here's a simple circuit from http://www.techfreakz.org/oldstuff/picb.html that will allow you to program the popular PIC16F84 microprocessor from Microchip. It's so small, it will fit inside the shell of a DB25 connector.

Hi,
many PIc programmers suggest the use of serial port instead of parallel port (DB9 insteed of DB25)
I give here a programmer with the correspondant schematic and doc.

thanks for the software.i think the software is quite user friendly...do you have the source code for the software?
