self calibration sar adc

Hi everybody!

Now I design a 12-bit SAR ADC with capacitor ratio self-calibration. Because technology, I use, doesn't allow to reach more than 10 bit accuracy even with the superior matchnig of capacitors.

Does anybody have experience with the ADCs with self-calibration using modern technology (not worser 0.6µm)? What were the results?

Now I made a VHDL model, and it looks like not bad, but what is the reality?

Thanks for any information!

Regards, Vladimir
