Hi
I am using MAX3160 in half-duplex mode. It means i am using Pins 5(TX1_Z_DI) and 6(TX1_Y_RTS) of this chip:

I want to connect this MAX3160 chip to a device which has Pinout like this:

So, wondering if i am doing it correct below:
Pin5 of MAX3160(TX1_Z_DI) connected to 485-(Pin4/Green) of device and
Pin6 of MAX3160(TX1_Y_RTS) connected to 485+(Pin2/White) of device

Hi.

Basically correct.
But you need to check whether you need series resistors, termination resistor, and/or a biasing resistor network.

Also the software needs to prevent bus collisions.
