Reg: PADS2009 CONSTRAINT SETTINGS

Hi All,

In PADS 2009 area wise constraint setting is available like Allegro Constraint Manager.I tried to find it in PADS but I can't and can someone help me on this.

I had worked professionally with PADS 2007, but I don´t know what you mean by "Area Wise Constraint".
Could you explain better ?

I will split the boards into different regions and wants to perform the DRC's for each region not component wise.For better understanding please see the attached picture.

If I am interpreting correctly, you can set net to net, class to class, class to net, etc... rules under the conditional rules tab.

Setup >> Design Rules >> Conditional Rules.

For class related, you fisrt have to create a class:

Same as above but select Class >> create a name >> add whatever classes are preferred.
