Redhat 7.3 can't boot

I want to use Candence and Synopsys EDA tools on Linux.
I installed the Redhat 7.3 yesterday twice and encountered the same problem:
I have finished the Redhat 7.3 installation on Pentium 4 mainboard, then the Redhat 7.3 began to boot, and deaded when checking the USB device.
Who tell me how to solve it?

I have met the same problem before.
You can put out everything in the USB such as print machine. Then you can boot the linux.
Good Luck.

U can modify bootloader menu ....
and add "nousb" at the end of this line...
for example:

kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.22-1-2115.nptl ro root=/dev/hda3 nousb

when u boot system, it will ignore usb device.

Re: Redhat 7.3 can't boot

Thanks!
I have solved this problem, I disabled the USB2.0 controller on 845GL mainboard BIOS setup and redhat7.3 booted up.

/etc/lilo.conf

check /etc/module.conf
