read and describe eyediagram

i try to simulated BPSK and QPSK over AWGN channel. then i plot eyediagram for each simulation. The results are shown by figures below :

BPSK :

how to read and describe (express) that result?
why qpsk inphase and quadrature are slightly different? (quadrature is little worse, but we know that qpsk signal consist of BPSK-I and BPSK-Q?)
does it cause by AWGN channel condition?

can anyone help me?
