mago,
They are not the same, although a pulse transformer can also be an isolation transformer. An isolation transformer has two electrically isoltaed windings for the purpose of providing a ground (common) reference on the secondary side that is elctrically isolated from the primary. A pulse transformer is a high frequency transformer that is designed with minimum inter-winding an intra-winding capacitance, so that there is minimum ringing on the output when a waveform with sharp rising and/or falling edges is applied.

Another thing is that the pulse transformer is specified by time domain parameters.
Audio transformers are specified by frequency domain, impedance levels, and power.
Power transformers are specified by voltage and current at each winding as well as the operating frequency.
They are not the same, although a pulse transformer is used for electrical isolation betn high power and low power circuits .
Pulse transformer is used for providing triggering to SCRS in power electronic applications.
It comes 1:1( 1 primary, 1 secondary), 1:1:1: (1 primary, 2 secondaries for bridge appllications)
