Hi,

I am designing a circuit using AMI 0.6 micron technology in Cadence.

To design the circuit theoretically, I have a set of equations for gain, BW etc etc..
I need the values of process transconductance parameters kn,kp for the AMI 0.6u process and also the value of lambda (channel length modulation).

Can anybody help me out on this?

Thanks,
Sambhav.

do you have the pdk?

calculate them from the model file.

or, setup some simple circuits, simulate them

better if you simulate them. The DK for high level models aren't easy to understand, and you won't be able to extract something similar to lambda, because the equations are really much more complicated.

You can find measured data here:

https://www.mosis.com/Technical/Testdata/ami-c5-prm.html

Just take a bunch of the values from each run and average them out.

You can also extract these parameters by running simulations.

You can find a very good approach in Allen & Holberg (Appendix B). They guide you through the process of extracting device parameters via measurements or simulation.
