I read this topic and feel like using this editor. But I have some problem with installing phase.
It requires some declarations, such as "Bin subdirectory", DVI path,....

"DVI" - I think I can find on the Internet
But "Bin ..." - I don't know exactly what it mean ?

waiting for your experiences !

Tks,

Re: Latex editor

I love WinEdt

**broken link removed**

recommend you to try

DVI = DeVice Indepent, it's one of the compiled format, viewable for example by YAP.

Consider using PDFLatex if you wanna create professional outputs :)

Latex editor

yeah, I advise winedt but the bad news is shareware but if you are after something freeware, then try texniccenter which is almost in the level of winedt.
