Problem with browsing on IE when connected to the Internet with netone connection

I am using netone(BSNL) connection for internet. when I connect netone and open inertnet explorer only home page gets open and then no other link is opneing. also any other site does not opens. what may be the problem?
Is there any problem with connection or browser settings or pc itself? please help.

I think u must be using xp

do you have permission to connect to the internet as a user.

what version of explorer are you using?

I am using windows xp and I am connecting internet through netone as user and I have IE6 on my pc.
I am using this connection from many days but the problem has arised now a few days back.

may be virus attack , you can use new install of os

Check for spyware, your homepage is opening probably because is still in cache.
Get some spyware cleaning software and a tool to fix windows xp's winsock.

....and start using some other browser like Opera or Firefox
