Hi all.
Pleas have a look at this pic.

**broken link removed**

The triac dosent work. There is no common GND betveen triac section and digitall section .I want to know how it works

Yes it doesn't work. You have to connect the netral line (N) to ground to make it work

Hi,

For low power dc control of power triacs you should use an optocoupler such as for example MOC3041 (or similar). This device incorporates a zero-crosing bilateral triac driver.

You can refer:

Hope it's usefull for you.

Good Luck.

Yeah, the triacs in this circuit do not work, due to no gate triggering currents.

Very simple addition that you connect the GND of the control circuit to terminals A1 of both triacs (means connect to N wire of the mains), then the triacs will work.

However, in this case, there is the risk of electric shock at the control circuit, so BE CAREFUL when working with the circuit.

Thank you all guys.I think the optocoupler idea is beter than the others because of its safty.
