The ProPic II is an excellent programmer, I made the version from **broken link removed**

Note thought that ic-prog 1.05c has problems reading several PIC's, including the 16F84A. It usually programs them OK, but cannot read back or verify them. I have confirmed correct writing by verifying in ProPic XP.

ic-prog 1.05 (no letter) programs and verifies correctly, but of course does not support as many devices.

So, use 1.05c if it works with your PIC's, otherwise you'll have to revert to 1.05 if it supports what you want or use ProPic XP to verify (it will do this in trial mode even though it won't write).

Well. I try to programming the PIC16F716 with ICprog version 1.05C., but it not support yet this type. In the list I was found only the OTP version PIC16C716.

Also I try to programming this type with current version of ProPic2XPsoftware. (perhaps V1.11). In the list I can select this type, but it say: It is a future part, not supported yet. I try to edit the device.ini. It was worked allready on other type. I try all off flash programming mode, but no one of them worked with this type.

Do you allready try to programming this type ? (PIC16F716)

What is the Version of your ICprog software?
