hi,

what is the module called that is used in laptops when plugged in it uses power supply and when disconnected it uses battery.

I have motor parameters analyzer where I use 9v 1a supply, I want to make it portable so that when i disconnect it from supply it should run by battery and when plugged in it should use power supply.

i have gone through MCP73871 but it doesnt suit my application(I use 9v 1a supply now).

Regards,
Raady
