I got a power amplifier sample, but I want to measure the PA characteristics

What test items shall I need to note that ? And how shall I measure these items?

thanks,

You should look for:
- Output Power vs Frequency vs Temperature vs Load Impedance vs Vcc
- Gain vs Frequency vs Input Power vs Temperature vs Vcc
- Linearity (Two tone or ACPR) vs Output Power vs Vcc
- Available Linear Output Power (P1dB)
- Harmonics
- Stability vs Load Impedance vs Input Power
- Efficiency vs Output Power vs Vcc
- Ruggedness vs Load Impedance vs Vcc
- Power Noise at different frequencies from the carrier
- Input VSWR vs Frequency
- Turn ON/OFF time

For this testings you need apropiate instruments.
What instruments do you have ?
Power meter
SWR meter
Spectrum Analizer
Frequency sweeper ?
