pole zero compensation

Hi, Im trying to design an LVDS transmitter. I just want to ask how to calculate for the values of the Pole-zero compensation Rc and Cc as shown in the circuit. How can I calculate for thier values? and also, why should I still have to put this compensation circuit? What is their purpose? Im just new, so I will really appreciate detailed explainations. Thank you :)
