PNP help

I figured out the pinouts.. Can someone point to me a better substitute.
The originals work fine after 3 months then it burns out again.

Maybe there is a better one out there?

PNP
1- Emitter
2- Base
3- Collector

hFE=292
Uf= 765m

That information doesn't really help. Do you know it's actual part number or alternatively, can you show the schematic it is used in.

Brian.

Try a heftier PNP like a 2N2905 in a TO-5 metal casing, for proviinng at least twice or triple the originals power spec.
The original is only borderline overloaded if its handling 3 months of use , if being in use daily ?

Describe device and where transistor is used. Maybe you should look elsewhere for source of problem.

Best regards,
Peter
