Hi all,

I am 2 years experienced layout engg.I am interested at ckt design.

please tell me the books names or sites which will give the simple basics related to design through online.

Advanced thanks,

Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits, by Razavi
I think this is a good book.
By the way, u wanna do analog design or digital design?

Chk out the book : Digital Integrated ckts -analysis and design by Sung-Mo (Steve) Kang
For starters this gives great insight for digital, else razavi for analog is better option

Some More:

1.
Analysis and Design of Analog Int. Ckt. by Gray et. al.

Available here:

2. Sedra Smith:

3. Millman Grabel

4. CMOS : Allen

Hope would help u....

Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits, by Razavi, yes, it is really a nice book for you to study IC design.

how about the book by sansen ?

Willy Sansen has a new book on fundamental analog circuit design, its called
“Analog Design Essentials” by W. Sansen, Springer, 2006.
This books was used by Prof Asad Abidi in his recent lectures outside UCLA

Hi,
Theses books can be used for CMOS ckt design

1) CMOS Fundamentals by Weste and Eshregian
2) Analog Circuit Design by Allen and Hollberg
3) Analog Circuits by Behzad Razavi
4) CMOS by Baker li and Boyce

Thanks
Shaikh Sarfraz

Choosing one of above list is only enough! not too many!

Hi renwl,
Laker and Sansen's book has been around for many years, and has many solved examples for the better understanding on the particular topic. It is easy to understand and is suitable for beginner too...However, this book is not easy to come by. I had a hard time searching for it at the bookshops...

For beginners, I recommend razavi's book.
As you get a general view of circuit design, then you can go to sansen's book. It deal with pole/zero analysis very well.

Do you know where i can get this book? Is it available in this forum?

pl. specify which circuit design you need?
Anolog or digital. and at what level.

ive learned off of sedra smith ISBN 0195142519 and am continuing with Razavi ISBN 0072380322

For Basics,
Book by Kang is good;
Then if you are interested in digital look up for digital Int design by Jan Rabaey et all and as far as Analog goes you can consult Razavi or Allen & Holberg.

Regrads,
Abhi
