placement of thevenin termination resistors for clock signal

I have two resistors (100 ohms), one pull up, one pull down for a clock signal, they are used for clock termination for a cleaner clock signal. Where should these resistors be placed? Closest to the destination? source? half-way?
 

Termination resistors are normally placed at the end i.e. the destination.
