can anyone help me to know the placement of the pin in a sim card in a pcb, cause i found in a shematic the pin name (VCC, GND, DATA etc..) and in the PCB its name is C1, c2 c3 c5 c6 c7,

Re: SIM card help

Code:
C1 - VCC C5 - GND
C2 - RST C6 - VPP (usually n.c.)
C3 - CLK C7 - I/O (= DATA)
C4 - n.c. C8 - n.c.

Note that the contacts are not numbered counterclockwise like chips

Re: SIM card help

is this true in all SIM card ?? cause there is 8 pin and 6 pin SIM card

Re: SIM card help

Yes, that's valid for both versions. In the 6-pin version the outer pins C4 and C8 (both n.c.) are just missing.
