how to build a PIN model in HFSS ?
I wanna get the s parameters of the switch in hfss, but I don't know how
to add the PIN in it ?
anyone can help me ?

As for me, HFSS is not the best tool for simulating such a switch made with pin diodes.
As, for me, i would use Ie3d from Zeland.
Actually, in the module "modua", you can cascade box of S-parameters.

Method :
1. Measure S parameters of the diodes used.
2. Transform those parameters in a s2p files (see help) with notepad
3. Create a port in our simulation where the diode has to be added
4. in modua, cascade your boxes.

Easy ?
See ya :)

thanks !
but how exact the simulation result will be ?
maybe the simulation result is perfect but the practical datas are terrible.
if so ,how to solve this problem ? 8O

Ansoft ensemble is a good choice for you.

Dear softstone:
where can i download the manual about ensemble ?

Hi,

Why don't you try AWR Microwave Office its very easy to do such simulations?

Import the s parameters then connect the subcircuits...
Finally simulate the circuit
