Hi all,

I am using xilinx SPARTAN 3 PCI Express starter Kit and want to communicate with FPGA through PCI Express communication. On PC side, i will be using Visual C or Labwindows software for sending some data packets to FPGA.

Can anyone provide some manuals or application note on this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How are you going to get PCIe from your computer? Better to use USB or RS232, which should already be available. Many computers today don't have an RS232 port, but you can get a USB to RS232 adaptor. I have some code I use in my Spartan kit for serial comm I can share.

Search the xilinx site for design resources maybe?
