ovm vmm

Does anybody know which methodology is better as per as performance is concern.?
Assuming that you are implementing a same testbench in vmm & ovm.
thanks

ovm performance

depend on your tool , no different for this two methodology!

Anyway may be not significant but performance will be different if we test both methodologies in the same tool.
I don't know which one is better but OVM2.0.3 release is announcing performance improvements.

OVM is from Cadence/ModelSim and VMM is from Synopsys. So I'm pretty sure OVM will run faster on Cadence/ModelSim simulator than the Synopsys simulator, and vice versa.
