Hello,

I am trying to design the Class-C RF Power Amplifier. I am new to this field and also new to the Cadence. I have designed a Single-ended RF Class-C POwer Amplifier. I have matched the Input and Output Impedance to the 50 Ohm.

But the issue is that the output Power is Negative and the Power Added Efficiency is 0.

-It's not a C-Class RF Amplifier because the biasing is not negative.
-W/L Ratio (2um/0.18um) may not give the desired Gm value.
-Is that process appropriate for RF ?
-Which frequency do you work on ?

I'm new to the RF Design and also to the cadence.
My freq is 2.4GHz.

Can you please guide me stepwise?
Thanks
