Most WIFI IC claims they supporting all 802.11 standard, but the "all" means only 802.11a/b/g, not original 802.11, is my understanding correct?

Is there any WIFI IC/product in the market still supporting original 802.11 FHSS 1Mbps mode?

Yes, most of the actual 802.11 systems support 1Mbps. Actually when a 802.11 system is doing a frequency band scanning this is done at lowest data rate, to get the lowest noise floor.
