Nixie clock with DCF and alarm

The system of the clock was based on microcontroller '51 AT89C51. Source code consists of few hundreds lines of code in Assembler. Lamps are multiplex controlled with a frequency of 1KHz. Decoder BCD/1 of 10 type 74141 and high voltage transistors control the lamps. Displays are powered from a converter on NE555. DCF receiver was made based on U4221B. Functions can be selected by a switch.

  • alarm
  • manually set time
  • synchronization DCF 77
  • display time UTC
