I have never really understood all of the subleties of the
Usenet, never having had time to read what I was supposed
to read when starting out several years ago. However, after
considering the loading on this NG (at *most* 10 postings
per day) I would be willing to volunteer as moderator.
However, some people may consider that Duet Technologies is
actually a competitor of Cadence Design Systems, and therefore
I may not pass the Cooley test of being truly non-EDA.
I am admittedly ex-Cadence, however, anyone who "knew me when"
would *never* have accused me of knuckling under or even of
trifling with anyone from Cadence Marketing. Well, with
certain limitations ..
I certainly know *of* some individuals who would be great
moderators. I don't know of anyone who would derive such
glee from eradicating the dxf'ers and the guys trying to
sell you graphics terminals and they guys trying to get
you rich quick.
So now what happens?
