Hi all ...
This shematic is realy weird it use astabile mutivibrator for regen quenching oscilator.
Simple to build.
I dont try yet but i will...

What are the advantages of that circuit? It uses 2 transistors to oscillate.

It is usually best to separate the function of quenching frequency from the main circuit. That way you have better control over the frequency and amplitude.
