can i configure a port on a switch as auto-negotiate when the NIC on the PC it is cabled to is configured to 100 Mbps full-duplex? Is this a valid configuration?

Typically it doesn’t matter but I’ve seen a few issues with 100Mb nics and Gb switchports requiring setting them to 100Mb full-duplex.

Good Luck!!!
