negative points for posts

i recieved a about -6 points in at about 15 50 IST

today what is the reason i never remembered giving out points
what in the world happened

My guess is a post you made was deleted. That would remove points that you gained from making the post in the first place. The post could be one you made to a thread where the whole thread was deleted.

That thread wasn't deleted, just closed (https://www.edaboard.com/threads/265748/#post1139253) but I agree that the point deduction is from a deleted post.

Yes, I checked the thread and amended my post. It is likely to be a deleted thread otherwise Jeffrey would have had a notification of the deleted post.
