Need to glue pot into metal chassis mount holder

I think you are confusing manufacturers Vishay and Bourns. Check this link:

However, you could use the panel mount without fixing it directly to the pot body, presumably both would be in fixed locations on PCB and chassis so it would guide the screwdriver to the screw slot and possibly add to rigidity.

Thanks, though the pot that we have is the one in the top post, and thats its mount there too.....if i could please ask, is there any glue tyoe that would NOT be allowed for gluing this pot to this pot holder?

I agree the chassis mount ones you show are better, and dont need gluing.....though we unfortunatwly did not use them.
