dear which type of robot you need to make. there r thousands of type of robots like, industrial, home, toy, AI based, etc.
first you have to select that which type of robot you can make or want to make then check the sites.

that lifts the things and place it where it is desired it requires the input by the user or the sensor that senses the hings that is placed on the belt
for thjis requires the 2 way motion logitudnal and latitudnal
