Summary:This paper demonstrates a method of designing helical antenna using the pitch manipulation method. A dual band antenna operating at both 900 MHz and 1900 MHz has been designed. By associating the helix turns to the electrical length, one can easily change to a different set of helix parameter set. This method should reduce the number of cut-and-try for designing helical antenna. Using the same method, multi band helical antenna have been designed for UHF/GPS and VHF/800 MHz applications

In this paper,an integrated dual frequency band antenna operating at UHF and GPS for portable radio is achievable using the coaxial folded type of monopole. This folded monopole antenna has good return loss and provided good gain at UHF and GPS frequency
