I am doing project on Fingerprint based attendance system. I am using SM 630 as a fingerprint scanner and P89V51RD2 microcontroller.
I am not able to communicate with SM630 via P89V51RD2. I have used pullup resistor of 10k on TX pin of the module and have successfully generated baud rate of 57600 bps required to communicate with SM 630 as follows.
{TMOD = 0x20;
TH1= 0xFF;
SCON = 0x50;
PCON = PCON|0x80;
}
Also I interfaced the module with PC and tried to send command using Flash magic terminal at 57600 bps. But still module did not respond.
Please help me.
