cheapest usb microcontroller

Hi All

I need a really inexpensive microcontroller with built in USB interface
and a AD at least 8 bit

I need something in the $2 range that is not going out of production

Microchip and Cygnal for example is to expensive

A higher price could be of interest if the vendor has a VID and PID that customers is allowed to use in production like FTDIs USB to RS232 chip

Hello
the Texas TAS1020 is USB microcontroler + 8052 core
ass.

microcontroller with usb support

The TAS1020 is mainly designed to be a Stereo USB Audio Interface
but it could still be used

but It does not have AD converter and it is also $3 in 1K volume
also Texas Instrument is to protective about their sample code

usb microcontroller price

Why don't try with 68hc908jb8 or jb16. They are cheaper and friendly.

68hc908jb8 example

Hi,

Try to use Cypress products. You'll like them.(Some of them ~$1)
;)

ftdi pdiusbd11

You can try EZ-USB of Cypress. It is a 8051 core. and has usb function. you can use it easy.

usb microcontroller in pakistan

The micros 16c745 and 16c765 from Microchip,
AT89c5131 and at89c5132 from Atmel should be inexpensive and have 10bit ADC.

microcontroller a/d usb

If you are looking a cheap solution for the USB try to consider the Cypress products. They are one of the most used like USB controller.

Katos.

Hello,
You can use FTDI chip with all the µc you want.
CD:)

Hi:

If you can spend some board space there is a 20 pin DIP-SOP chip
PDIUSBD11 from philips, pretty inexpensive and works very well with
USB1.0 for all class of HID interface

cheapest microcontroller with usb

I am presume you are after low speed 1.1 compliant for that price.
have a look at ST st72f61 or 63B (***.stmcu.com) low speed usb devices well within your price range in volume, suitable for usb 1.1.
Very easy to usb lib with source.

..16c765 from Microchip,...

I think tjis chip is obsolote. I Cant find it anywhere. And Microchip couldn't send this sample (16c765 JW type) but sent other 4 samples. (I ordered 5 free samples from microchip)

cheapest usb microcontrollers

AT89C5131 is a high-performance CPU with usb

microcontroller with built in usb

Thanx for all the suggestions

but all of you miss the most important part CHEAP
I'm looking at a project that I want to sell at a very low price sub $20
then $10.19 a chip like the Philips chip is way to high
also the microchip and the FTDI they are both nice chips but to expensive

I have not been able to get price on some of them like the AT89C5131 st72f61 and 68hc908jb8

the PDIUSBD11, FTDI and also the new Cygnal CP2101 all need an extra microcontroller to do the actual work

jb16 micro

The only thing that makes the FTDI and Cygnal chips interesting is the fact that they allow you to use their VID and gives you your own PID
this saves you about $2500 a year in licence fee to usb.org

universal serial bus microcontroller

can u tell how programm 89c5131

microcontroller and usb and a/d

hi i'm working on a cypress 8051 microcontroller at the moment which has usb support like what has been recommended by other users, however to get the development board it cost me €500, i have no idea how much it would cost in the states, also it doesn't come with an adc, if you are looking for a cheap option look at analog devices, dont think that you'll get one in your price range, but worth a look

easy usb microcontroller

Wizzard:
Take a look on the Cypress chip CY7C6xxxx, in low quantities <100pcs for round about 2$.
This is a micro normally used for keyboard & mouse projects.

low price microcontroller with built in usb

I were in a meating with TI's MSP 430 design team.

They're about to announce a microcontroller with USB interface.

I'm working a lot with the MSP 430 family and recommend waiting.
