I'm new to ADS and am trying to get the hang of it by revisiting some basic MW designs like Wilkinson's, Lange's, and branchline's.
Are there any good tips you can suggest to help make this MWO to ADS transition less painful??
I'm starting with ideal Tlines and working to complete EM layout.

For example: MWO I can add an equation to the schematic and use a colon ':' to have the result show on the schematic. This is useful when I'm trying to do a quick look on whether a t-line impedance is even practical. Can ADS do this?

Please load me up with whatever tips/tricks/shortcuts you can think of!!

Or, say, in MWO I can show the variables window and set the tuning parameter as well as the optimization parameters all at the same time.

Yes, the user interface concepts are different.

There are some tutorial videos by Keysight for new users:

And here are some ADS appnotes that I wrote myself, mostly related to EM and workflow customization:

A recent example is this, showing how to create a fully scalable layout of the miniaturized band pass filter by Sheng Zhang et al, published in Microwave Journal March 2017:
