I am working on renting some equipment for EMI/EMC compliance testing. The rental company is asking me if I want ISO 17025 "Calibration." As I understand it ISO 17025 is a certification for testing and calibration labs, not a calibration standard. They say that they do most of their own calibration, and that they are ISO 17025 certified. NIST calibration comes standard, but 17025 calibration costs extra. Are they trying to sell me cold fusion?
