Missing routing information from virtuosoDefaultExtractorSetup

I am trying to run automatic routing in Layout XL. I am getting a bunch of warnings complaining that some constraints such as minSpacing and minWidth are missing from rulespec virtuospDefaultExtracterSetup and in the end it says:
*WARNING* Insufficient information in the required constraint group(s), detail_route run stopped.
What is "virtuospDefaultExtracterSetup"? and how can I make it point to the routing rules of my technology?
