adc millivolt

how to read millivolt adc( ie .01v,.02v) please help me

Re: adc millivolt

step size = Vref / 256*

*
(256 is in case of 8 bit adc = 2^8=256)

{ 2^number of bits = resolution}

step size = minimum change you can measure

for example , 0.01V is required

0.01 V = Vref / 256
Vref = 0.01 x256
Vref = 2.56 V
