hi all
i am working on an embedded project :alarm using a PIC18F
but i am confused what programming language to use.
first i want to know what is the difference between embedded C ,mikoC and PIC C
and CCS .
which is the better one .
Regards

Bro C is only C i.e ANSI C,all u have mentioned are compilers.Compiler is a software which translates e.g C code into machine code(1&0's).
mikroC is preferable when you want to code in much small time i.e it is very easy to code in mikroC.
CCS C is preferable when you want more efficient code.
It seems you are beginner so i suggest you to use mikroC

thank you
how about PIC C ?
in my project i will send at commands from micro controller to a mobile phone which in turn sends an sms to another mobile.....
and i was told that PIC C is the most adapted to these kind of project(because of its printf instruction which does not exist in mikroC )
what do think??
