In AT89C51, AT stands for Atmel , C stands for CMOS
What 89 and 51 stands for?????????

Also kindly can anyone tell what is the meaning of each letter in
PIC16F877 and PIC18F458

what is the meaning of pic16f877a series

PIC = Programmable interface controller or some variation on that
16 = the series: 14-bit core
F = flash memory
877/458 = the specific model number basically
