what is the Mean time between failures (MTBF)???????

i need some notes

regards
crux

it describes how often the FF will be metastable,it depends on the freq. of both the clock and the data.
the higher MTBF the more immune the FF against Metastability

the failure rate of a given time

thanks

but i need some notes and how to calculate the mtbf
