I am interesting in programming in radio waveform in MATLAB and transmit it with a low-power exciter. The way I am thinking of doing it is as follow:

1. I need a MATLAB software with data acquisition toolbox to interface with either a sound card or data acquisition card.
2. Output from the sound card or data acquisition card to a D/A board.
3. Output from the D/A board to a RF VCO and syntesizer to an antenna for transmission.

Any comment will be appreciated. Thank you.
