manually create cell rows for placing the standard cells

SOC Encounter

Hi All,
I am new to SOC Encounter and wanted to find out whether we manually create cell rows for placing the standard cells or the tool does automatically at the time of loading the design because i do see some row orientations being set when i load the design........

Also i would like to ask hot to create power rails for the standard cell power supply using sroute.....

Hi nschiku,
Tool will create cell rows automatically at the time of loading the design( i.e along with Tech lef, Standard library lef, etc).

Once you are done with Add ring and Add stripes sroute will be used to route it and at the same time power rails will be created automatically by the tool .
