I'm simulating a flyback trasformer converter with Virtuoso. I find, in the analogLib, the components WINDING and CORE. CORE asks me to insert the model name, but I haven't core models in my machine.
I thinked to translate a PSpice library, but it doesn't appear so simple. It appears much simple to take a done library and modify the "magic numbers" of the Jiles-Atherton model.

So, does anyone know where can I find a magnetic core model to modify?

i can give you some information for getting the model.

the old pspice manual for msdos had a section separately
on jiles-atherton model and how to get the parameters for the cores avalable.

if you have access to that then you can write the model for the core in hand.

intusoft also have models for some popular cores.
i hope it is of somehelp to you.

Well. The thing is that I want to use Cadence Virtuoso for my simulations.
The problem is to "translate" a PSpice library into a Virtuoso library.

Intusoft.com appears off now.
