Hi,

what is the quickest way to change all the pad sizes in 672 bga.

Thanks

Spit

The right way would be in the PCB Library Editor, and then update the footprint on the PCB. However, it can also be done in the PCB Editor. Be warned that if you do it in only in the PCB Editor, and later update from the library, you'll reset the pad sizes to whatever was in the library footprint.

In either the library or on the PCB, the tool you want to use is called "Find Similar Objects". Put the cursor on one of the pads you want to edit, and right click. "Find Similar Objects" is at the top of the right click menu. Choose that tool, and when the dialog opens, select the parameters to match (i.e. X Size, Y Size, layer, component, etc.). Make sure you select "Clear Existing" and "Select Matched" at the bottom of the dialog, and hit "OK". Once all the pads are selected, go into the Inspector Panel, and make your changes. If the Inspector Panel doesn't open automatically, you can open it with "F11".

Thanks very much House_Cat.
