hi to all

I have just join one firm which is working in the field of Data Aquaisition

Now from the first day they gave me to study some material and also gave me a one week of time to complete....

bt i m in so confusion bz i dont have brief knowledge of Data Aquisition

in that the Most important part is ADC and Sampling Rate....Also Resolution is one of the important part

so My requirement is, if someone has some good lectures note on this topic than plz send it to me as soon as possible

also if u have brief knowledge regarding this, than plz share it with me so it will be more helpful to me at the time of my presentation....

I have again type the topics which are required:

1. Analog to Digital Conversion

- Types of ADC
- Methods of ADC

2. What is Resolution?..How to find?...

3. What is Sampling Rate?..Why it is required?..

4. what is Conversion time?...

5. What is settling Time?...

6. What is Multiplexing and Demultiplexing?...

7. What are the types of Signal Conditioning?...

8. What is Gain Settling?...

9. Voltage Families?...

10. Types of Sensors?...What is defination for Sensors?...

11. Statement of Nyquist Theoram?..What it says?...

12. What is Bandwidth?..What is Frequency?...

Lectures Notes

u shud refer communication buk !! all r quite easy .. i suppose

Re: Lectures Notes

its best if you study these topic from some standard text. here i m enclosing one which is best in my knowledge.....
Taub & schilling

to get this just search it in upload and download sections.....

bye

Re: Lectures Notes

Read "Data Conversion HandBook" by Kester from Analog Devices Inc.

Lectures Notes

Why dont u visit national instruments web site .... they are doing good business selling Data Aquaisition cards in the market
they have got alot of practical as well theoritical information in there web site....

with regards

Re: Lectures Notes

hi,for most of the topics specified can be read frm

Analog IC Design by kenmartin,a very good book for issues related to data converters(ADC and DAC)

Re: Lectures Notes

hi
maybe you are new to electronic, maybe not
but you should know that electronics is a very rapidly changed area
that means you will have to study all the time and alot.

i would start by search all the terms you mentioned in google ,
and in EDABOARD Search engine .
and find results .
you should read application notes and design notes in sites
like ANALOG DEVICES , TI , and more companies in the A2D area.

good luck.

Lectures Notes

You need to study one of the books that talk about ADC/DAC ... I think it will be difficult to be familiar with terms u want without that..

Otherwise try to find some quick tutorials and go through them..

Ahmad,
