Hi Everyone,
I wanna some tutorials regarding Transistor .Can anyone give me a Good tutorial or a good link so that i can easily understand it.Basically i m not confident how to calculate base current, collector current, how much collector give us max current etc.

Re: Transistor Tutorials

There's a lot of tutorials on the web. Since I doesn't bother read through all of them and neither know what kind of lecture that is written in a way so that you best understand it, i recomend you to search around on the web on your own. Hopefully you'll find a tutor that gives a throughfull explanation.

Good luck 8)

Transistor Tutorials

Transistor is one of the active component. Depend on application, there are two categories of transistor, transistor as switch (usually use in power electronics) and transistor as amplifier. When transistor use as amplifier, its amplify the current base with output in collector. So the collector current equal to alpha times base current (alpha is the value of amplification)
I never calculate the alpha, base current, collector current,or how much collector give us max current. I just simply read the transistor data sheet, its always provide these data.
