An RF isolator is a two-port passive device made of magnets and ferrite material which is used to protect other RF components from excessive signal reflection, while an RF circulator is a three-port passive device used to control the direction of signal flow in a circuit.

when power is fed into any port it is transferred to the next port, the first port being counted as following the last in order.

Very limited dicussion in the net..

Well maybe a transistor gate,source and drain can be a circulator...

Well a circulator is three port device. Its S-parameter matrix has S13=S21=S32=1, the rest are all zero for ideal case. Can I implement a three-port CMOS circuit having similar S-matrix? that will be a circulator.

usually in CMOS technology people do circulator from enhancement of iscilator.

There are two type that usually implemented which is ring oscillator(using transistor) and LC oscillator.

I think u are asking how to design the architechture of the circulator to get your S-parameter requirement? ISn't it..
